Description :

Elegant vintage ladies Geneve wristwatch featuring a petite rectangular champagne-tone dial with applied gold-tone hour markers and a substantial triple-strand twisted rope bracelet. The watch has a classic jewelry-watch design with an integrated box clasp. The dial is signed “GENEVE.” Geneve 14K rope-bracelet watches of this general type are documented in the vintage market, although I could not verify a more specific manufacturer/model from the visible markings alone.

Approx. Measurements
Approximately 6–7 inches long; watch face approximately 1/2–3/4 inch wide

Marker
Dial marked “GENEVE.” Bracelet/clasp marked “14K” with additional maker’s mark appearing to read “PESON” or similar; exact maker mark not confirmed.

Condition
Good vintage condition with age-appropriate surface wear and patina. Visible wear/discoloration to dial and crystal. Working condition is unknown unless otherwise tested. Jewelry magnet tested but not professionally tested.

Historical Note
Geneve ladies jewelry watches with solid 14K gold cases and braided or rope-style bracelets were particularly fashionable during the later 20th century. Comparable vintage Geneve 14K rope-bracelet watches are documented with Swiss quartz movements and solid-gold bracelets.

Est. Value
900
